2024
Give A Note Foundation invested $100,000 on one single day in Fall 2024 to introduce brand new Music Tech classrooms in two U.S. Title I School Districts, geographically across the country from each other, aiming to modernize and democratize music education/creation with a focus on career path development to spark student interest in the growing field of tech.
In partnership with Huber Engineered Materials, Gibson Gives, Focusrite, AUDIX, Yamaha, KRK and Rap Plug Live, Give A Note Foundation provided a $100,000 grant to Cobb County School District in Atlanta, GA and Woodburn School District in Woodburn, OR to build state-of-the-art music technology classrooms and hired new music educators to lead the programs. Launch events featured artists and industry professionals to generate community excitement.
The launch events featured Superintendents, Administrators, Educators and Students from each respective district along with performances and panels by TikTok stars The Boykinz, Music Producer Craig King, The Dumes' lead singer Elodie Hatfield and GRAMMY®-nominated reggae artist Aaron Nigel Smith. A multi-year committment has been made to each district to build on this foundation.
