Produce and curate an event series to raise funds and awareness about the epidemic of gun violence through the film A Father’s Promise, the story of professional musician Mark Barden, whose life changed dramatically when his son Daniel was shot and killed at Sandy Hook Elementary School.

AFA produced and ticketed a one of a kind docu-concert series in NYC, acquiring talent that included Peter Frampton, Sheryl Crow, Kevin Bacon and more while partnering with film Director Rick Korn and In Plain View Entertainment to capture and film the entire concert. The following night AFA co-hosted the A Father's Promise theatrical film premiere at LOOK Cinemas with the film's distribution partner Abramorama and a star studded guest list in a packed theater.

A sold out show that raised over $100K, garnering over 1.7B earned media impressions that included looks in Variety, Billboard, Rolling Stone, etc. and served as the launch pad for the film in bringing awareness to gun violence prevention. Along with the concert series and film premiere, AFA also successfully designed, created and launched an online platform, social presence and merch line for Artist For Action.
